Alisha's 2nd Birthday Celebration

Once again, I found another picture being shared around through Facebook in order to spread the knowledge and stupidity so other people in the world can be stupid intelligent too.

What? Really? The wives MUST be very slim and pretty to protect a marriage?? Hahaha. That's another example why you Asians shouldn't always accept what the western people say. What about the husbands with beer bellies?? Also, look at the celebrities. They can go beautiful to the max, but hardly any of their marriages last. Even in Malaysia, divorces happen even between two very good-looking people. Perhaps attitude comes first before the looks.

Change the title to "Wives must be pretty to fulfill the husbands' lust". That's better.

Anyway, back to topic!!

Alisha's birthday was on 13th of July but we celebrated it on the 14th since we failed to find cake because it was Saturday. Also, I set the time of this post to that date. Alisha is 2 years old now!

We went to Secret Recipe since that's where they make the yummiest cakes. We took a slice of Mango Delight, Choco Cheese, and Chocolate Indulgence.

Tamron 28-105mm was the wrong lens for this occasion, but we just had to push ourselves behind a bit to snap a good picture. In the end, it wasn't such a wrong lens. Alisha ate half of her Chocolate Indulgence, and also took some bites of my Mango Delight. Papa's job was finishing our leftovers.

Notice that the indoor lighting wasn't very supportive for taking pictures, so adjusting the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO-speed is a must. I made use the AEL button function for this so the aperture was always stuck at 4 and while I was on Shutter Priority mode.

We also bought her a new pair of shoes, that fit perfectly with her new dress. She took a while to get used, fell several times, but got back up again.

After that, we stopped by Burger King to get some snack for the little angel.

Do keep in mind that her new stuffed cat is always around now every time we go out.

As soon as we saw the baby starting to get bored with the place, I suggested Dani if we could go to find a park nearby so we could let Alisha run around freely.

We stopped by at Taman Bandaran Kelana Jaya. There were people fishing, and newlyweds taking pictures there.

We didn't have a ball for Alisha to play with, so Dani just ran around with her like a mad man.

Alisha likes being tossed in air. I think every baby likes to be tossed in air. They love the feeling like they're going to fall but someone will catch them for sure.

KL was cloudy on this day. I had to use Auto Tone with Photoshop on the picture above.

Alisha cried before leaving this park. She didn't have enough fun yet. But it was getting late, so we should head home. Hopefully, we can come back here (or to another park) with a ball next time.

That's the end of how we spent the day celebrating Alisha's birthday.
