Cupcakes!

Okay children! Today, we're baking cupcakes.

Notes: DON'T leave flour unused for too long inside the fridge. Some eww insects might grow eggs bleh gross *pukes*!


The ingredients:
  • 100g butter or margarine
  • 100g sifted self-raising flour
  • 100g castor sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • [Optional] 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • [Optional] 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder or essence
  • [Optional] Chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 180°C (medium oven) and prepare paper cases into muffin tin. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy using electric whisk or wooden spoon.

Add eggs one by one, beating well each one before adding another. Add vanilla powder or essence (if using).

Add flour carefully (and baking powder if using). After that, add chocolate chips (if using).

Pour batter into the paper cases. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, use a toothpick to check by inserting it into one cupcake. If the toothpick comes out dry, then the cupcakes are done. Remove the cupcakes from tin and leave to cool.

Topping

Cupcakes topping can be anything you like. I prefer Nutella with chocolate chips, cooked chocolate icing with M&M's, and vanilla icing with any decorations. (Each one of these to serve 3 cupcakes).

For Nutella topping, spread one spoonful of Nutella on top of the cupcake. Decorate it with chocolate chips.

For cooked chocolate icing, prepare a pot of water and a glass or ceramic cup. Place the cup inside the pot, making sure the water reach about half of the cup outside. 

Like this.
Add 12 cubes of cooking chocolate and one spoon of margarine or butter (this is for 3 cupcakes). They will melt when the water gets hot. After that, add 1 spoon of icing sugar. Mix them well. Pour on cupcake and decorate with M&M's.

For vanilla icing, prepare a bowl. Add a cup of icing sugar, 2 oz of butter or margarine, a dash of salt, 2 tablespoons of milk, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence. Mix them well. Add more icing sugar if the mixture is not creamy enough. Pour on cupcakes and decorate with rainbow truffles or chocolate chips.

Yay!! Now your cupcakes are done, you can start munching everything off as fast as you can.


And after that, please clean your kitchen.


Wahhh baby is hungry. Time to go!
